Believe it or not but we’ve just flipped the calendar over to another month - February, let’s do this thing!

Now, if you’re here reading this I’m going to safely assume that you want to grow your website and business.

I mean, helloooo that’s why people come to me - to learn about Squarespace SEO and all the jazz that comes along with it!

I always say “what gets measured gets managed” and this couldn’t be more true than when it comes to getting from where you are currently to where you want to go.

If you want to to grow your website and online business, you MUST have a solid understanding of where you are and where you want to go!

You might say that you want to increase traffic to your website, but WHY is that really? Is it because every website visitor is a real person who checked out your offerings? Is it more people that you can serve with your incredible services? Does it mean more bomb products sold?

There’s gotta be a WHY to keep you focused.

But the numbers will keep you accountable and on track :)

Every month, i take literally 5 minutes to review all my websites and online business stats and believe me when I tell you that this habit has made the world of difference!! I keeps me focused on my goals, I can see what works vs what didn’t, where I’m lagging behind, where I’m crushing it (ego boost yay), and most of all whether I’m generally trending in the right direction haha

In the video below, I walk you through step by step which website and business numbers and stats you should be tracking every single month.

Don’t be afraid of the numbers and don’t let your ego get in the way, telling you that they’re too low to ever make progress. THAT’S NOT TRUE!!!

Website & Business numbers to track each month

Website Growth Tracker

I’m working off of my Website Growth Tracker spreadsheet templates in this video. I initially built it for myself, then passed it on to clients and a few biz besties, and now I’ve made it public for everyone :)

It’s obviously not required in order to track your monthly website & business numbers and stats…. but it sure will make it easier.

Website and Business numbers and stats to track every month

Website Stats

Unique visitors
Unique visits
Page views

You can get all this info by logging into the back end of your Squarespace website, going to Analytics > Traffic

Social Media Stats

Track your follower stats across all social media platforms that you’re active on. Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Youtube, Snapchat, whatever

Email Newsletter Subscribers

Track the number of email newsletter subscribers you have on your list

Revenue

Track the monthly revenue. Look at the breakdown of your products/services, where sales came from, etc. Keep an eye on those dolla dolla bills yo!

Media Mentions

Track any media mentions, backlinks, websites that send you referral traffic etc.

Affiliate Programs

Track any affiliate programs that you’re apart of.

Make it easy - set a calendar reminder!

I set a Google calendar reminder to pull this info the first day of every month so that I don’t forget to check this info. Super easy and literally takes 5 minutes start to finish!
